Clinton, Obama, aim for the “Faith” Vote
Clinton and Obama are both going to court the “Faith” vote this weekend at a forum this weekend at Messiah College in PA. John Mccain will be absent from the forum. According to the article, all three candidates claim to be of Christian Faith. Clinton being a Methodist, Obama belonging to the Church of Christ, and Mccain a Baptist. How do you feel this affects your vote? Does “Faith” play any role in your decision to choose who will be the next President of the U.S.?

I feel like…they’re all about as “Christian” as America is a “Christian Nation” :-/
in name only.

Interesting that the candidates with the most visible faith tend to be the least popular by the time they leave…Carter, Bush II…
I don’t get a vote, and I don’t know that any of them aren’t Christians. But I second Tyler’s comment above, because when faith is used as a front for politics, it’s beyond dead, and that’s what the political climate in this country fosters.

I’ve heard people claiming to be Christians attempt to explain that faith doesn’t play a role in their political decision making. If that’s true, they have no faith. If you believe something is right and then vote against it, you can’t really believe it’s that important. Very sad.
