Social Distortion Acoustic Album in 2009
Mike Ness says in a recent interview with spinner that he plans to record a Social Distortion acoustic record for 2009. He also has plans another solo record and the next proper Social D. full length.
“I don’t know what will be first,” he says.”It’s hard to say. I’m kind of leaving the first part of next year open for writing and recording and whatever happens, happens.”

Who else is excited about Social D. news? Am I the only fan here?

Nope, one of my faves. I loved their last full-length. It had been so long between releases, though. Glad to see their putting something out a bit sooner.

This is incredibly exciting. And yeah, the last full-length was absolutely amazing. I think I would call “Winners and Losers” one of the best twenty songs ever.

Social D rules. I’m so frickin’ stoked! S L & RNR is still one of my top 3 listened-to albums (out of the thousand+ I own), and how old is it? Footprints On My Ceiling, Faithless, Highway 101…incredible! That album is ten 4 1/2 to 5-star songs!
