Box Office Report: June 15th
It’s another week and a few films opened on Friday that reflect today’s report. The Incredible Hulk opened in first place with a take of $54.5million. It was a pretty solid opening but I’ve read reports elsewhere saying that they were expecting to taking in $60-65million the first weekend. Hmmmm….Kung Fu Panda is still running strong in it’s second week taking in $34.3million ($117.998million total). The Happening opened in third with $30.5million total. A decent opening but I’m sure it’s less than the producers wanted. You Don’t Mess With The Zohan dropped to fourth with $16.4million ($68.79million total). Indiana Jones was in fifth with a take of $13.54million ($275.329million total). To see the rest of the top ten, click here. Well this is the time of year where we get overloaded on the amount of films released. There are just too many films to see and not enough time to do so. So my question to you is this, how many films have you seen this summer so far and which ones are your favorite?

Indiana Jones
Narnia
Narnia beats Indiana Jones barely. Kinda disappointed with both films. Want to see Iron man and The Happening.

I saw The Hulk last night and enjoyed it. The clip in the end with Tony Stark was so short but I guess leads into what will be sequel after sequel. Do weekend totals usually just include friday/saturday night income then and not sunday nights?
