Gasoline Heart TOURING IS BORING
Yo dudes
louis here
lets get a few things straight concerning ThE GasOline HeaRt blog
A. their will be alot of spelling errors
B. most likely no punctuation
C. it hopefully will be somewhat entertaining
right now im at hotel in Minnesota, we had the day off yesterday and we spent it wisely
we went to the mall of america and grabbed some cheap chinese food then we headed to the 4th level and saw the movie IRON Man. totally great movie. i usually hate action movies maybe it is because when i was a kid i watched rambo and missing in action( old chuck norris movie) pretty much every day and im all deathed out.
after the movie we orderd pizza hut purchased a few beverages and watched our home town basketball team the orlando magic get beat by the detroit pistons. their was alot of yelling, screaming cussing and throwing things but even tho we put forth out best effort(i mean me and john not the magic) we still lost
well im not totally deathed out, because our band right now is on tour with murder by death and Dios.
both are pretty rad bands and have been nothing but nice to us. anyway we are about 4 shows into this thing and each one keeps getting better. i know that sounds lame but it is true. the first few shows were kindof odd because their was no liquor allowed and to be honest its just wierd playing to a sober audience. they dont apreciate my humor as much when they havent had anything to drink. which probally means im just not as funny as i think i am.
tonight we head to omaha, nebraska(somewhere in middle america if you remember that old counting crows song)
ill let ya know how things went tonight
tomorrow
cool?
here is a list of some things that we have enjoyed while being on our little trip so far
1. Howard Stern on sirius satellite radio 2. Mitch Hedberg
3. The McDonalds 1 dollar menu 4. Camel lights 5. No Country For Old Men ( what a great movie) 6. indie vision music 7. we love our groceries

Hey Louis! That’s awesome. Thanks for posting on here. I look forward to seeing you and Murder By Death at the great Jackpot Saloon in Lawrence, KS - Home of the national champion Kansas Jayhawks. Sorry ’bout the Magic…

Thanks Louis. I was originally going to both the KC and Lawrence shows but I can only go to one now and I was thinking that tomorrow was Lawrence. Good thing you set me straight.
When you say “we go on at 9″ does this mean a full band? I’ve been looking forward to seeing the band since the demise of the Kick/SFO. Thanks for coming over to the middle of the West! Here’s my official request for “Cheers (Here’s to Life)” “Local Dude Has Guitar” and “Can’t Keep A Good Kid Down”

Why can’t u goto both?
How about cheers…can’t keep a good kid will be on the next record and maybe I can make local dude happen if u come to both shows
If ticket price is the problem I can probally get u into one.
I will try and get other dudes to write stuff as well

Nice to know we didn’t scare you away at IVM, Louis.

All the websites say you’re playing Lawrence tomorrow and KC on Thursday. I even called all 3 to verify. If this is the case, I will be at both shows! I’ll talk to you tomorrow about getting on the guest list to KC.
…if you play Local Dude Has Guitar at one of the shows, I’ll hand you 50 bucks for being awesome. Guaranteed.
